Today I am going to share with you 5 ways to keep your customers coming back.

 

First impressions as we know are everything.  Think about the first time you sat down for an interview for a job.  You might have been nervous but knew that you had to make a great first impression in order to be possibly be selected for the open position.  Well the same goes for customers that walk into your store.  Be sure to first have a friendly great and not a sales pitch right off the get go.  Not only that but make sure the store is in clean and organized condition.  I walked into a well-known tech store once to pick up a phone and this is what happened.  First the music was playing so loud as if you were at a club, next no one said a word to me until finally a woman in jeans looked up and said, “What’s up.”  I know what their uniforms are supposed to look like and this was not it, and I bet the corporate center would not like it at all. 

Customer Service is key to the success of your customers / clients returning to your store for products or services.  Remember you or your employees must always be kind and willing to help.  Issues occur in every industry, and if an issues comes about your employees should know how to handle it. It’s important to take responsibility and solve the problem.    When the user is checking out either in store or online, ask them for their phone number so you can send them promotions and product or service updates.  Addressing customers by name, being friendly, proper posture, and eye contact helps a customer feel welcomed, and are all necessary in great customer service.  When a customer feels good they are more likely to make a purchase.

Customer Relationship and Interaction.  Maintain a relationship with them and no I don’t mean to call them every day.  However, you should let them know about sales promotions coming up, send out coupons, notify them about rewards they have unused, and much more.  Engaging in social media will build loyalty with your customers.  By mean of social media platforms you can show off and create a better understanding of your business to your customers.  Social media interaction can help change negatives views and build trust between you and your customers.  If you are currently not on social media you need to today.  If you need help contact us and we can point you in the right direction.
